Founded in 2019 by co-founders Morgan & Jordan, Open Hands Creative is a Perth-based small business offering Eco-Friendly Art Workshops & Products for all ages.

For five years, we focused exclusively on adult workshops, helping people reconnect with their creativity in a relaxed, inspiring environment. Now, through our sister business, Little Hands Creative, we’ve extended our passion to children’s events — nurturing young imaginations through hands-on crafts and play.

Our Philosophy

We believe everyone is creative — sometimes, you just need the right space to explore it! Adults rarely set time aside for creativity, which is where we come in. Our workshops aren’t just your typical sip-and-paint classes (though you’ll still enjoy wine and cheese!); they’re designed to help you unlock and uphold your creativity through sustainable art practices. Plus, you’ll walk away with a piece you’re genuinely proud of—not something that ends up hidden in a cupboard.

Children, on the other hand, have endless creativity! Our facilitators encourage exploration and self-expression through engaging, eco-friendly art activities that inspire both play and learning.

Sustainability

Everything we do, we do through an eco-conscious lens. Not only do we try not to damage mother earth further, but we start the process of healing and restoring. Within this business we celebrate nature and reconnect with our planet on a day-to-day basis.

We are a member of 1% for the Planet, which means 1% of our annual sales are donated to non-profit organisations focused on helping the environment.
